Abby holds a Doctorate and Masters in Acupuncture from The New England School of Acupuncture (NESA), one of the oldest, most rigorous and respected Traditional Chinese Medicine schools in the country, and is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine to practice. She completed her doctoral degree from NESA at The Massachusetts School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Abby’s treatment approach fuses modern science with the wisdom of ancient medicine. She specializes in orthopedic conditions, pain management, and cosmetic facial acupuncture in her Hanover acupuncture clinic. Kristen MacFarlane, DACM holds a Doctorate and Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health & Sciences in San Diego, CA. She also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Kristen is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Saybrook University, to further deepen her understanding of the mind-body-spirit connection and its role in healing.

Kristen’s path to acupuncture began through her own healing journey, after seeking treatment for scoliosis-related pain, stress, and anxiety. Experiencing the powerful effects of acupuncture inspired her to pursue a career in Chinese Medicine. She integrates her clinical training with a strong background in movement and wellness, offering a holistic approach that blends traditional Eastern medicine with modern therapeutic techniques.
